Step into the realm of Black women, where mental health remains a taboo subject. This book delves into my struggles with suicide attempts and thoughts alongside a discourse on the scarce research regarding suicide within the Black community. Black women are often perceived as perpetually strong and expected to conquer any issue. Yet, behind the radiant smiles and the facade of resilience, there lies a lifelessness in their eyes. Their bodies, rigid from stress, bear life's burdens, frequently in solitude. We must take action. Join me in amplifying the call for improved mental health support in the Black community.
